Introduction    Beijing Lawyers Association is a social organization with legal person status established according to law and consists of all the lawyers and law firms in Beijing. As a self-regulatory profession organization of lawyers, it serves and manages the lawyer profession in accordance with the law.    Purpose: Beijing Lawyers Association shall persist in the guidance of "Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era", study and implement "Xi Jinping Thought on Rule of Law", uphold the leadership of the Communist Party of China, unite and lead its members to hold high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, firmly enhance confidence in the path, theory, system, and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics, strengthen consciousness of the need to maintain political integrity, think in big-picture terms, follow the leadership core, and keep in alignment with the central Party leadership, resolutely uphold General Secretary Xi Jinping's core position in the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Party as a whole, resolutely uphold the authority and centralized unified leadership of the Central Committee, adhere to the correct political direction, and loyally fulfill the duties and missions of the socialist rule of law workforce, strengthen the philosophical and political building of the lawyer team, regard supporting the leadership of the Communist Party of China and supporting the socialist rule of law as the basic requirements for lawyers' practice, enhance the consciousness and firmness of lawyers in following the path of socialist rule of law, remain loyal to the Constitution and laws, abide by the Constitution, laws, regulations, and national policies, consciously practice the Core Socialist Values, promote the spirit of patriotism, adhere to social moral customs, consciously strengthen the practice of integrity and self-discipline, observe the professional ethics and disciplines of lawyers, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of clients, correct enforcement of laws and social fairness and justice, operate with integrity according to laws and regulations, earnestly fulfill social responsibility, give full play to the profession self-regulation role to standardize the conduct of members, protect the overall profession interests and members’ legitimate rights and interests, reflect profession demand, consolidate members' capabilities of practice according to law, promote sound and sustainable development of lawyer service in Beijing, and strive to help promote ruling of country by law in an in-depth and all-round manner, build a socialist legal system and socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics, promote the modernization of national governance system and governance capability, turn China into a strong, prosperous, democratic, civilized, harmonious and beautiful socialist modernized country of strength, and achieve the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
